Elizabeth Vysin

Cellist Elizabeth Vysin recently completed a Graduate Performance Diploma from the Longy School of Music of Bard College, where she studied with Terry King.  She received her Master of Music Degree in Cello Performance and Music Theory from The Hartt School at the University of Hartford under the instruction of Terry King and Mihai Tetel. 

Recent performances have included the Lyrica Boston Chamber Music Concert Series (LyricaFest); Laguna Beach Music Festival, performing with Lynn Harrell; the Dvorak Concerto with the Hartt Symphony Orchestra conducted by Edward Cumming; principal cellist with the Lyrica Chamber Orchestra; solo recitals at the Longy School of Music of Bard College and The Hartt School, and string quartet performances throughout the New England area. She is also faculty at the Viola Workout Summer Festival in Crested Butte, Colorado.

Marvelously diverse, Elizabeth also performs and teaches violin and viola, which has resulted in a very large and busy private studio in Massachusetts.
